This is an important question, but is unfortunately one that can’t be answered without the details of your design project. Your company and its design needs are different from every other, which is why we will tailor a quote to your individual needs.
With most design projects, we request a 50% downpayment prior to scheduling work. We accept Credit Cards via Paypal or Certified Checks / Money Orders. A complete payment schedule and payment details will be included with you design proposal and contract. The remaining 50% is payable upon completion of the project, prior to supply of original artwork.
Depending on our current work load it is possible. If your job requires rush priority please contact us to see if we are able to schedule and complete your job within the time frame you require.
At the beginning of each project we will set a timetable for the completion of major milestones, such as when you can expect initial concepts, and how long potential revisions may take. Because each project is different, we wait until we know your needs before providing a deadline. Depending upon the complexity of your design project work may last from a few weeks in length to upwards of six months.
Trends show where we’ve been, and can give a glimpse into where we’re going. We don’t, however, create our designs based solely upon trends, because we don’t want you to have to come back to us in a couple of years because your design is out-of-date. We strive to provide you with a design that will last the duration of your business, that won’t look out of style when trends change.
Evaluating the competition is a necessary part of the design process, and should be expected from any designer. Researching client competitors for every project helps us insure we provide you with a unique and effective logo fit for your industry that you will be proud of for many years to come.
We are more than happy to do business with clients from outside our immediate area. Designing for clients this way has not negatively affected any of our design projects. While we would of course love to meet all of our clients face-to-face, however it can often save time and money by communicating exclusively via telephone and email.
Carbon 3 Studios reserves the right to showcase all of our designs on our website and in our promotional material. We try to display as much of our work as possible but cannot guarantee yours will be included.
Feel free to call us with any questions you may have. We are available between 9am and 8pm EST, Monday thru Friday (except during weekends and holidays). We are however often away from our phone but are almost always near a computer, so if you don’t reach us or would like an expedited response please send us an email.
Web Standards are commonly agreed upon guidelines for CSS, XHTML and other technical specifications that define and describe aspects of the World Wide Web that ensure web sites are more accessible and easily usable. Web Standards are frequently associated with the trend of endorsing a set of standardized best practices for building web sites, and a philosophy of web design and development that includes those methods.
